THE NEVER ENDING REORGANIZATION OF UNITY VILLAGE
The extreme financial difficulties faced by Unity that precipitated the  "Rightsizing" (a euphemism for downsizing), that became a restructuring, and evolved into a full-scale reorganization, had its roots in the late 1990's.  By the year 2000, Unity management began to formally address the serious fiscal problems and inform the staff as well as the the public of the severity of the financial losses confronting the organization.  Seven years later, Unity entered 2007, the eighth year of the struggle, to continue the agonizing process of reorganizing the reorganization―with no end in sight.
